The Milestones That Marked the 24–25 Financial Year

July 3 2025

From record sales to awards and giving back – here’s how Kollosche made its mark in Gold Coast real estate this financial year.
The Milestones That Marked the 24–25 Financial Year

As the 2024–2025 financial year draws to a close, it’s an ideal time to take stock of the year that was – a period marked by standout sales results, community contribution, and continued resilience across the Gold Coast property market.

Over the past 12 months, demand for quality homes in tightly held locations has remained steady. While buyer confidence fluctuated in line with interest rate movements and broader economic conditions, properties in beachfront, riverfront and key suburban pockets continued to perform. With supply constrained across much of the region, well-located homes attracted strong buyer interest.

According to Cotality, the median house price on the Gold Coast reached approximately $1,150,000 in May 2025 – representing annual growth of 9.5 per cent. Unit values also climbed by 10.8 per cent year-on-year, lifting the median to around $770,000. These figures highlight the city’s ongoing strength and broad-based appeal.

Kollosche was also named the No.1 office on the Gold Coast, with Troy Dowker (10th), Jamie Harrison (30th) and Rob Lamb (37th) all ranked among Queensland’s top agents in the REB Top 50. Michael Kollosche recorded Queensland’s highest sales volume and average sale price, and ranked 2nd overall. BROADER GROWTH

The year also marked progress and success across Kollosche’s broader divisions.

Kollosche Commercial, led by Adam Grbcic and Tony Grbcic, achieved a landmark result with the $26,000,000 sale of 2375 Gold Coast Highway, a prominent Mermaid Beach village site now earmarked for a $185,000,000 lifestyle precinct known as The Alfred.

Kollosche Property Management has entered a new phase of growth and evolution, with a clear goal to become the Gold Coast’s leading premium property management service. In the project space, Kollosche New Projects continued to build momentum with the appointment of Jason Hughes as Head of New Projects, bringing more than a decade of experience across construction, development and project management.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES

Beyond sales and awards, Kollosche strengthened its commitment to the community. The inaugural People’s Ball raised $1,192,000 for Serving Our People, helping to fund vital services across the region. The agency’s Community Fund also continued to support grassroots initiatives, sporting clubs and local charities throughout the year.

The Gold Coast remains a market of long-term potential. Auction clearance rates have hovered around 62 per cent, population growth is driving housing demand, and supply remains tight in key locations. As FY26 begins, Kollosche remains focused on delivering exceptional service to clients and meaningful contributions to the community.

To our sellers, buyers, landlords and developers – thank you. We are grateful to have played a role in progressing your property goals and look forward to exploring new opportunities together as the year unfolds.
